Bek Benson, a musician from the Georgian band Asea Sool, has introduced Sound Matter Engine, a project that transforms music and other sounds into physical, three-dimensional forms.
An audio recording is used to create a particular sculpture. According to the project’s creator, each work is produced only once and receives a unique identification code and a certificate of authenticity.
Sound Matter Engine gives audio a visual and material interpretation: music or sound ultimately takes the form of a physical art object.
